Elfner Organic Lawncare is a local family owned company. Nate and Jenn live in Delaware county on a small family farm and have two kids. After completing a year of service in AmeriCorps, their son Drew (21) works as a licensed home inspector. Their child Rory (18) attends Columbus State Community College majoring in Anthropology and volunteers for the Delaware Historical Society. They have several adopted pets; Bruno James and Marner (both sweet Pitbulls), and cats Hudson and Pepper. The Elfner family enjoys vacations at Lakeside Chautauqua, organic gardening, cheering on the Blue Jackets & Maple Leafs, and tracking down the best Indian food in Central Ohio.

NATE ELFNER

Owner / Site Operations

After attending Ohio State University, Nate found that his interests were drawn toward organic landscaping and farming. He earned a certification as a Permaculture Design Consultant through the University of New Hampshire in 1996. Nate and Jenn started their company in 2000. It began with a focus toward native & edible landscaping, but over the years has changed to focus on the Organic Lawncare division. Nate is proud to offer environmentally responsible lawncare services to the Central Ohio area.

JENN ELFNER

Owner / Office Manager
Jenn manages the office operations for Elfner Organic Lawncare. She also works full-time as a Construction Account Manager for Gordian.
